Mercedes is reportedly presenting a new concept car at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 21st, the Mercedes-Maybach Vision 6 Concept. The German automaker has published various teaser images on its official Facebook page, where it also confirmed the presence of the Mercedes-Maybach Vision 6 at the event held later this week.

The number six in the name of this vehicle makes some think the coupe has a length of six meters, which would make it fit in between the older Maybach 57 and 62 models. With no further details from Mercedes-Maybach, it appears that this model is a two-seat coupe, as the shape of its roof does not show any room for any passengers in the rear. Another element that would further strengthen this view is the size of the rear side windows, which are more decorative than practical.

The striking front end comes with a massive front grille that is contrasted with a set of thin LED headlamps. The hood itself is interestingly profiled, as it has three distinctive lines, including one in the middle. The latter starts just after the Mercedes-Benz badge, while the front grille incorporates the Maybach name.

Mercedes-Maybach is not going to make a production version of this model, so the Vision 6 will remain a concept for now. However, the designers of both brands in the Daimler AG portfolio might be inspired by the lines shown by this vehicle, which should have the power to influence plenty of new designs from the German corporation.
