2018 Honda Accord: new pics
Here new interesting pictures of the Japanese car, expected by fall 2017. Spotted testing in both swirl and black camo, the 2018 Accord will get a new platform shared with the Civic, as Honda tries to reduce platform counts and expand use of modular pieces. It could be smaller than the outgoing model given that Honda no longer builds two different Accords for global sale. But it shouldn't shrink too much given that the Civic Sedan grew noticeably in its latest revision.
Expect similar design elements from that design, but with a more upright profile. Engines are likely to continue as refinements of existing units, although a turbocharged four-cylinder is almost certainly to be offered while the V6 could be axed. Honda will also continue with a hybrid version, probably using the same powertrain in the 2017 Accord Hybrid.
